PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seaweed bed construction reef that can widely take area for epiphytism, and is at a low cost and facilitates handling.SOLUTION: A seaweed bed construction reef includes an epiphytic unit 2 having epiphytic blocks 11 for promoting epiphytism of seaweed and growth mats 12 for promoting growth of young fish and shellfish, and a cage unit 3 for housing the epiphytic unit 2 so as to surround them.
