An endoscope treatment system including an instrument body (6) and an endoscope body, wherein the instrument body includes a treatment portion for performing treatment in response to a back-and-forth drive force, a transmitting member (3) connected to the treatment portion for transmitting the back-and-forth drive force to the treatment portion, and a sheath member (5) in which the transmitting member (3) is fitted so as to move back-and-forth. The endoscope body includes a channel through which the instrument body can be inserted. The endoscope treatment system further includes a back-and-forth mechanism (12) for allowing the transmitting member to move back-and-forth in the axial direction with respect to the sheath member, a driving-power source (13) provided on the endoscope body for driving the back-and-forth mechanism, and an instruction member provided on the endoscope body for issuing driving instructions to the driving-power source.
