PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel capable of avoiding functional decline in a spool reciprocation device, a rewind drive device and the like, while downsizing a reel body.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel 100 according to the present invention comprises: a reel body 1 including a body 10 that has a circular side-part opening 13 formed thereon, and a circular lid member 30； a handle shaft 5 rotatably supported by the body 10 and the lid member 30； a spool shaft 8 located inside the body 10； and a spool reciprocation device 70 including a slider 72 moving back and forth along with the spool shaft 8 by rotation of the handle shaft 5, and a guide shaft 71 slidingly guiding the slider 72 in the longitudinal direction. A rear part 8a of the spool shaft 8 and the guide shaft 71 are respectively distributed and disposed on an upper side and a lower side of the handle shaft 5.
