PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a large-sized seedling planter, a wide seedling planting apparatus is attached to the rear of a narrow traveling body and seedlings are transplanted in a plenty of rows by one travel so that the lateral ends of the seedling planting apparatus are excessively projected from the traveling body and storage and transportation are inconvenient. SOLUTION: In the seedling planter equipped with the seedling planting apparatus 2 with which seedling planting frames 33 provided with planting tines 38 and side frames 35 arranged right and left side parts of the seedling planting frames 33 and provided with planting tines 38 at the rear parts are installed below a seedling placing stand 29, the outside parts of the seedling placing stand 29 are folded on the seedling placing stand 29, each of supporting frames 39 projected to the rear ends of the seedling planting frames 33 and the side frames 35 is equipped with an inner sleeve 40 and an outer sleeve 41, the end parts of the inner sleeves 40 are connected to the end parts of the outer sleeves 41 rotatably around shafts 42 in the inclination direction of the seedling placing stand 29 and the side frames 35 are folded on the seedling planting frames 33.
