PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of relaxing stimulation applied to a skin in the vicinity of a sacrum.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a center area S1 placed on an inseam of a wearer a rear side area S3 disposed on a rear side of the center area S1, and has a length in a cross direction L longer than that of the center area S1 and an absorbent core 31 disposed on at least the rear side area S3. The rear side area S3 comprises a hip flap 4 which is swollen outward of a width direction W. A pair of rear side compression parts 84 for compressing at least the absorbent core 31 and separated across a center line CL, is formed on the rear side area S3 along the cross direction L. A maximum width of the hip flap 4 in the width direction W is positioned on a rear side relative to a center of the rear side area S3 in the cross direction L.
