PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide peptides or peptide-like molecules usable as anti-tumor agents.SOLUTION: An invention relates to a compound characterized by that: a) it consists of nine amino acids in a linear arrangement； b) of those 9 amino acids, five are cationic, four have a lipophilic R group； c) at least one of the nine amino acids is a non-genetically coded (e.g., a modified derivative of a genetically coded amino acid)； and optionally, d) the lipophilic and cationic residues are positioned in such a manner that not more than two residues of one type are adjacent； further if necessary, e) the molecule comprises two pair of adjacent cationic amino acids and one or two pairs of adjacent lipophilic residues； and which compound is used for treating tumors by administering it with an immune checkpoint inhibitor in combination, in succession, or separately.
