The plants brick (1) has a carrier layer (3) made of decomposable material, and a substratum (2) in which multiple a pre-cultivated floor-covering perennial plants (4) or small shrubs of different types are inserted and/or applied. The carrier layer is formed as a sheep wool mat. The substratum with layer thickness ranging between 3 and 15 cm is attached to the sheep wool mat. Multiple pieces of geophytes (5) are distributed between the sheep wool mat and the substratum. A solitary perennial (6) is arranged in a center of the brick. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a plants brick.
