PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device which is easily operated by a user and a helper.SOLUTION: The walking assist device 10 is configured to apply power of electric motor units 26, 28 to lower limbs of the user as walking assist force. The walking assist device includes: a C-shaped main frame 22 which is worn on hips of the user and forms right and left front ends 22B, 22C by extending from a lower back part to right and left hip side parts an electric component unit 91 which is equipped with a battery 92 and is provided on the main frame and the electric motor units 26, 28 provided at parts corresponding to the right and left hip side parts of the main frame.
