The present invention involves a beauty apparatus having a first electrode and a second electrode configured to enable conduction via the human body, said beauty apparatus allowing a cosmetic ingredient, which has been electrically charged by passing a current through an external circuit constituted by the first electrode, the second electrode and the human body, to be infused into the skin. The beauty apparatus has: a body provided with the first electrode and the second electrode； and a control unit that is disposed inside the body, connects the first electrode and the second electrode, and controls the current that flows therebetween. The control unit is configured so as to execute an iontophoresis mode in which the following are sequentially repeated: an iontophoresis step in which current (F1) with one polarity passes between the first electrode and the second electrode； a reset pulse step in which a pulse current (F2) of another polarity passes between the first electrode and the second electrode； and a skin care step in which a current (F3), wherein the polarity alternately switches places, passes between the first electrode and the second electrode.
