The processing circuitry acquires object volume data including a bone fracture region acquired from a subject and target volume data acquired based on a healthy bone region corresponding to the bone fracture region. The processing circuitry extracts a plurality of fragment regions from the object volume data. The processing circuitry arranges the plurality of extracted fragment regions in the object volume data based on shapes of the plurality of fragment regions and a shape of a bone region included in the target volume data. The display displays an image based on the object volume data in which the fragment regions are arranged.
