PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant culture apparatus capable of maximizing the space within the limited cultivation room by eliminating a wasted space.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a plant culture apparatus comprising: a culture shelf provided with a plurality of culture tanks spaced in a vertical direction, the culture tank having a bottomed container shape with an opening at the top thereof and storing a culture fluid for growing plants； and a pair of carrier devices disposed adjacent to both side ends of the culture shelf for carrying the plants in and out of at least one of the plurality of culture tanks on the culture shelf. The height between the culture tanks, which are adjacent to each other in the vertical direction, is different from the height between other culture tanks adjacent to each other in the vertical direction.
