PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage device in which a thickness in a cross direction is thin, and a slim shape is achieved for corresponding to a sheet type or plate type massage machine.SOLUTION: A massage device 1 of the invention comprises: a treatment piece 17 which protrudes to a front side an arm member 16 which comprises teh treatment piece 17 on a tip end side and a base end part thereof is supported to a rotary shaft 12 which is oriented to a lateral direction a protrusion piece 24 which is provided on the base end side of the arm member 16 so as to protrude and a tapping massage mechanism 10 for swinging in a reciprocating state, the protrusion piece 24, for performing a tapping massage by the treatment piece 17.
