Field of the Invention The present invention relates to the field of food preservation, and more particularly to a composition comprising xanthohumol for use as an antimicrobial agent for preserving food with other antimicrobial agents. In particular, the present invention provides the use of a composition comprising xanthohumol as an antimicrobial composition against lactic acid bacteria and an additional antimicrobial agent.
