PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporizer which can ensure stable contact between an upper end of a liquid absorbing core and an undersurface of a vaporizing member.SOLUTION: A vaporizer includes a storage member (10) which stores a volatile liquid, a liquid absorbing core (40) which is arranged in the storage member (10), a cap (50) which is detachably mounted to an opening part (12), a lid (60), and a vaporizing member (70) which is supported by the cap (50) from below when the cap (50) is mounted, and whose undersurface (71) is brought into contact with an upper end (40a) of the liquid absorbing core (40) when the cap (50) is detached. The storage member (10) has a holding part (33). The lid (60) has a restriction part (61a).
