PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter which prevents tangling of weeds and improves safety without spoiling the operation efficiency.SOLUTION: A bush cutter includes protection rods 4 and 5 and protects collision with obstacles, such as people, when a worker moves a cutting blade 1 in a bush cutting work. Furthermore, the protection rods 4 and 5 are not attached in parallel to the cutting blade 1, but are made higher than the cutting blade 1 at positions near a scattering preventing cover 3 and are set up at a height comparable to the cutting blade 1 at the tip of the protection rods 4 and 5, and thus the shape of a three dimensionally smooth curve is formed and the resistance and tangling of weeds are lessened, resulted in smooth work.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】雑草の絡まりを防止し、刈払機の作業能率を損なうことなく安全性を向上させる。【解決手段】防護ロッド4及び5を装備して、作業者が刈り払い作業で刈刃1を動かした場合に人などの障害物との衝突を防護する。また防護ロッド4及び5は刈刃1と平行に取り付けるのではなく、飛散防止カバ-3に近い位置では刈刃1より高くして防護ロッド4及び5の先端では刈刃1と同程度の高さとなるように立体的に滑らかな曲線状にすることにより、雑草の抵抗や絡まりを少なくしてスムーズに作業が行える。【選択図】図1
