PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems of a ride-on mower wherein a driver may be easily at a risk because the driver may easily touch twigs and leaves of fruit trees if the operation of mowing run is delayed in the weeding work, and wherein the sense of operation is abruptly changed as the posture of driving operation is changed so that the quick and accurate operation is difficult because the positional relation between feet and an HST pedal is changed and the sense of operation is changed especially when a seat is laterally moved.SOLUTION: The ride-on mower includes front wheels 3 steered by a handle 2 on a steering post 1, an engine 4 and rear wheels 6 driven by an HST 5, which are disposed on a four-wheel traveling vehicle body 7. A blade deck 9 to which a blade 8 is axially attached is attached to the body of the four-wheel traveling vehicle body 7, and the laterally movable seat 12 is mounted on a floor 10 of the vehicle body 7. A lever case 14 with an HST lever 13 for the gear shifting operation of the HST 5 is disposed on the outer side of the lateral movement of the seat 12, so that the lever case is movable in the lateral direction integrally with the seat 12.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】乗用草刈機で下刈作業する場合に、刈取走行の操作が遅れると、運転者が果樹の枝葉に触れ易い状態にあるため、危険性を伴いやすいものである。特に、シートを横移動させたときは、足元のHSTペダルとの関係位置が変化するために、操作感覚が変わり、運転操作の姿勢変更と同時に操作感覚が急変して、迅速で的確な操作を行うことが難しい。【解決手段】ステアリングポスト1上のハンドル2によって操向の前輪3と、エンジン4、及びHST5によって駆動される後輪6と配置した四輪走行車体7の腹部に、ブレード8を軸装のブレードデッキ9を装着して、車体7のフロア10上には、横移動可能のシート12を設けた乗用草刈機において、前記シート12の横移動側外側部に、前記HST5を変速操作するHSTレバー13を有したレバーケース14を設けて、前記シート12と一体的に横移動可能に構成したことを特徴とする乗用草刈機とする。【選択図】図1
