PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce inexpensively an absorbent article, capable of preventing breakage of a leg-surrounding opening part on a belt member.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of an absorbent article. The absorbent article comprises in a state before the absorbent article is finished: an absorbent body for absorbing a liquid and a pair of belt members which are laminated to the absorbent body, and arranged in a width direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. The pair of belt members comprise, respectively, a leg-surrounding opening part.
