PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling coating material composition capable of forming a coating film having an excellent crack resistance and release resistance under dried conditions.SOLUTION: The antifouling coating material composition includes a coating film-forming copolymer having 20 to 65% by weight component unit derived from a trialkylsilyl ester of polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid and having 1,000 to 50,000 number-average molecular weight and zinc oxide in an amount of 1 to 1,000 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of coating film-forming copolymer. The coating film is formed of the antifouling coating material composition. The antifouling method comprises using the antifouling coating material composition.
