PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter that is made of a braided body having high bond strength between first and second strands even when the first and second strands constituting the braided body are thin.SOLUTION: A body 10 of a catheter 1 comprises an inner layer 24, a braided body 26, and an outer layer 28. The braided body 26 comprises first and second strands 26a and 26b. A tip 40 of the first strand 26a forms joints 100 and 200 for being joined to the second strand 26b, and the first strand 26a of the joints 100 and 200 is formed more thickly than the first strand 26a of parts except the joints 100 and 200.
