PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure an axial length of an eye when misalignment between a subjects eye and a measurement light axis is found.
SOLUTION: An ocular axial length measuring apparatus including a measurement optical system which emits measurement light to the subjects eye to measure the axial length of the subjects eye without contact optically and an arithmetic means for acquiring data of the axial length of the subjects eye from output signals of the measurement optical system is equipped with an anterior eye part imaging means for imaging an anterior eye of the subjects eye. The arithmetic means measures the amount of misalignment in the vertical and horizontal directions between the light axis of the measurement light flux and the subjects eye from the image signal of the anterior eye part imaging means at the time of measuring the axial length of the eye and corrects the data of the axial length of the eye from the measurement result.
