PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method for facilitating greening by long-term growing of a desired plant which does not interfere with the regional landscape and traffic visibility while achieving excellent weed suppression.SOLUTION: A greening method enabling thick growing of a desired plant comprises: laying without gap on the ground surface an excellently light-shielding black nonwoven sheet which does not allow the shoots of the plant to pass through but allows the roots of the plant to pass through, covering the black nonwoven sheet with high-quality soil of a few millimeters thick superposing on the soil a black nonwoven fabric having water retention properties, a black agricultural polyethylene sheet not allowing both water and the roots to pass through, and a black nonwoven sheet with water-repellent and root-proof properties in this order from the bottom heat-bonding the superposed sheets to form a single weed-proof sheet forming a myriad of vegetation holes at regular intervals in the weed-proof sheet and bonding to the undersurface of the weed-proof sheet a sheet with the desired seeds and fertilizer adhered thereon to form a weed-proof sheet with seeds and firmly laying the weed-proof sheet with seeds.
