PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately extract and comparatively display a tomographic image at a position accurately corresponding to one tomographic image when comparatively observing two images acquired by imaging the same subject at different points of time using the tomographic images.SOLUTION: First tomographic image information, which specifies a first tomographic image contained in a first image, and first region-of-interest information, which specifies a first region of interest on the first tomographic image, are acquired. An image deformation amount of one image for deforming the first image or the second image so that the first image and the second image coincide is calculated. On the basis of the image deformation amounts at a plurality of positions of the first region of interest and the first tomographic image information, the tomographic image inside the second image corresponding to the first tomographic image is specified as a second tomographic image, a region of interest inside the second image corresponding to the first region of interest is specified as a second region of interest, and the second tomographic image in which the first tomographic image and the second region of interest are projected, is displayed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】異なる時点で同一の被写体を撮影して取得した2つの画像を断層画像で比較観察する際に、一方の断層画像に対して、正確に対応する位置における断層画像を抽出して比較表示する。【解決手段】第1画像に含まれる第1断層画像を特定する第1断層画像情報と第1断層画像上の第1の関心領域を特定する第1の関心領域情報を取得し、第1画像と第2画像が一致するように第1画像または第2画像を変形させるための一方の画像の画像変形量を算出し、第1の関心領域の複数の位置の画像変形量と第1断層画像情報とに基づいて第1断層画像に対応する第2画像内の断層像を第2断層画像として特定するとともに、第1の関心領域に対応する第2画像内の関心領域を第2の関心領域として特定し、第1断層画像と第2の関心領域を投影した第2断層画像を表示する。【選択図】図1
