A planting device that has: one or multiple planting containers, which are provided with a water storage section capable of accumulating water for planting and a planting space in which a water-absorbing planting bed material can be mounted and in which an opening that exposes the planting bed material can be formed at least on the front surface side； and a frame member, which is capable of surrounding and supporting the one or multiple planting containers so as to be freely detachable. Projections are formed on portions of the circumference of the planting container and interlocking openings that fit together with the projections are provided on the circumference of the frame member.
