PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel cosmetics having high emulsion stability of an oily component including a sphingolipid even at low temperature, and having a suppressed touch feeling of roughness.SOLUTION: Cosmetics include: an oily component having a dielectric constant of 2.8-7.0 a sphingolipid dispersing or dissolving into the oily component to form an oil phase an aqueous phase and closed vesicles made from an amphiphile or polycondensation polymer particles each having a hydroxyl group. The cosmetics have a structure of an oil/water emulsion which maintains an emulsified state by that the closed vesicles made from the amphiphile or the polycondensation polymer particles each having the hydroxyl group exist in an interface between the oil phase and the aqueous phase. Preferably, at least a part of the oily components has a polar group. Preferably, the polar group includes one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of a carbonyl group and an ester group.
