An imaging apparatus includes a light source unit； a diffraction grating diffracting light from the light source unit； and a detector detecting light from the diffraction grating, wherein the light source unit includes first light-emitting parts emitting light forming a first interference pattern by being diffracted at the diffraction grating, and second light-emitting parts emitting light forming a second interference pattern by being diffracted at the diffraction grating, wherein the first and the second light-emitting parts are disposed so that at least part of the first and second interference pattern overlap and the positions of light regions in the first interference pattern differ from the positions of light regions in the second interference pattern, and wherein a combined pattern is formed by the first interference pattern and the second interference pattern.
