Various torque limiting screwdriver devices, systems and methods are disclosed. The screw driver can include a body, a motor configured to rotate a screw that engages the screw driver, and a processor configured to control operation of the screw driver. The screwdriver can have a torque limiting function, for example, by monitoring the amount of torque applied to the screw and reducing or stopping screw rotation when certain torque limiting criteria are met. In some embodiments, the screwdriver can be switched between manual operation by the user and automatic operation by a motor in the screwdriver.
