PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical microscope capable of appropriately changing a substantial angle formed between right and left observation luminous fluxes.SOLUTION: A surgical microscope 1 comprises an observation optical system 30, a first lens 31 and a substantial angle change part 21. The observation optical system 30 guides an observation luminous flux RS for a right eye and an observation luminous flux LS for a left eye from an observation object. The first lens 31 is a lens provided on the observation optical system 30, a front focus of which becomes an object surface of the observation object in the case where other lenses are not placed on an optical path between the observation object and itself. The substantial angle change part 21 is provided on the optical path between the first lens 31 and the observation object.
