PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side rail for a bed which facilitates an adjustment of an angle of an arm, allows a user to reliably fix the arm after the adjustment of the arm, and prevents the arm in the fixed state from being casually cancelled.SOLUTION: A lock cancelling lever 5 oscillates around a shaft 51 between a rotation suppressed position (an upper end position) for suppressing rotations of an arm and a rotation allowing position (a lower end position) for allowing the rotations of the arm. In addition, an arm side lock member 7 rotates together with the arm, and a body side lock member 6 engages the arm side lock member 7 and is fixed on a side rail body. A safety lock member 4 is moved to ascend and descend between a first position (a lower end position) in which projection parts 43, 54 abut on each other to prevent the lock cancelling lever 5 from oscillating to the rotation allowing position and a second position (an upper end position where the projection parts 43, 54 do not abut on each other) in which the oscillation of the lock cancelling lever 5 to the rotation allowing position is allowed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
