PURPOSE: A multilayer edible moisture blocker for food is provided to suppress or prevent the movement of moisture between food ingredients, and to separate the food ingredients having different moisture activities. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer edible moisture blocker for food comprise at least one of lipid layer including an edible low-melting point triglyceride blend with the melting point of 35 deg. C of lower, and at least one of flexibility hydrophobic barrier. The lipid layer additionally includes effective amount of a fat crystallization controlling agent. The lipid layer contains 1-35% of fat crystallization controlling agent, and the fat crystallization controlling agent has the melting point of 70 deg. C or more, and the average volume grain size of less than 10 microns. The solid fat content of the lipid layer is 50-70% at the fridge storage temperature of 0-5 deg. C, or the surrounding storage temperature of 15-25 deg. C. The thickness of the lipid layer is 50 microns to 1mm.
