The invention concerns the cosmetic or nutraceutical use of a Saccharomyces cerevisiae extract by topical or oral administration, in order to increase the ratio of the content of Staphylococcus epidermidis relative to the content of Staphylococcus aureus in the skin and/or mucous membranes and/or to increase the commensal and/or mucosal microbial flora. The present invention also concerns an S. cerevisiae extract for the pharmaceutical, and preferably dermatological, use of same, or for the use of same in the treatment or prevention of pathological conditions involving a reduction in the content of beneficial cutaneous and/or mucosal commensal microorganisms and/or an increase in the content of pathogenic microorganisms.L'invention a pour objet l'utilisation cosmétique ou nutraceutique d'un extrait de Saccharomyces cerevisiae par voie topique ou orale, pour augmenter le ratio de la teneur de Staphylococcus epidermidis par rapport à la teneur de Staphylococcus aureus au niveau de la peau et/ou des muqueuses et/ou pour augmenter la flore microbienne commensale et/ou mucosale. Un autre objet de la présente invention concerne encore un extrait de S. cerevisiae pour son utilisation pharmaceutique, préférentiellement dermatologique, ou dans le traitement ou la prévention de pathologies impliquant une diminution de la teneur en microorganismes commensaux bénéfique cutanés et/ou mucosaux et/ou une augmentation de la teneur en microorganismes pathogènes.
