Problem to be solved: to provide a chlorine dioxide agent capable of stably generating a high concentration of chlorine dioxide with a chlorine dioxide agent obtained by impregnating a chlorite with a chlorite salt and drying it.As the porous carrier of the chlorine dioxide agent, a sintered sepiolite having a pH of not less than 7 and less than pH 10 is used.The sintered sepiolite is less than 5% by weight of calcium.The chlorine dioxide is characterized by impregnating and drying the chlorite.This chlorine dioxide has a characteristic of generating a high concentration chlorine dioxide stably.Diagram【課題】多孔質担体に亜塩素酸塩を含浸し、乾燥させて得られる二酸化塩素剤で、高濃度の二酸化塩素を安定して発生する二酸化塩素剤を提供する。【解決手段】二酸化塩素剤の多孔質担体として、ｐＨ７以上且つｐＨ１０未満の中性～弱アルカリ性の焼成セピオライトを使用する。またその焼成セピオライトはカルシウム含有量が５重量％未満である。この焼成セピオライトに亜塩素酸塩を含浸し、乾燥させることを特徴とする二酸化塩素剤である。この二酸化塩素剤は、高濃度の二酸化塩素を安定して発生する特徴を有している。【選択図】図１
