PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting basin for greening which has high strength to be usable for a long period of time and also is excellent in air permeability while developing high water retentivity, and with which a wide range of areas can be inexpensively greened.SOLUTION: The planting basin for greening 1 includes: a metallic tray 2 formed by stretching crosspieces 7 including strip-like boards and rod-like bodies in a lattice shape at the bottom of an outer frame 6 formed into an oblong hollow quadratic prism； a metallic net-like body 3； a water-retaining sheet 4 made by making peat moss thickly grow over a synthetic resin nonwoven cloth； and soil dressing 5 consisting mainly of regenerated ceramics.【課題】強度が高く長期間に亘って使用することができる上、高い保水性を発現させることが可能である反面、通気性にも優れており、広い範囲を低コストで緑化することが可能な緑化用植枡を提供する。【解決手段】緑化用植枡１は、横長で中空の四角柱状に形成された外枠体６の底部に、帯状板材および棒状体からなる桟体７を格子状に張り巡らせることによって形成された金属製のトレイ２と、金属製の網状体３と、合成樹脂製の不織布に水苔を密生させた保水シート４と、再生セラミックスを主材料とする客土５とによって構成されている。【選択図】図１
