PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray equipment capable of providing information suitable for diagnosis of the heart.SOLUTION: An image acquisition part 1 acquires X-ray image data of a plurality of frames by applying X rays a plurality of times. A contour extraction part 41 specifies the contour of the lungs of a subject based on the X-ray image data of respective frames. A width calculation part 42 calculates the width of the lungs and the width of the heart in each frame based on the contour of the lungs in the respective frames. A cardiothoracic ratio calculation part 43 calculates the cardiothoracic ratio, the ratio of the lung width to the heart width, for each frame.
