The present invention relates to a composition for suppressing neuraminidase activity comprising a geranylated flavonoid derived from Paulownia tomentosa as an active ingredient. The Paulownia tomentosa extract and the geranylated flavonoid isolated therefrom exhibit an effect in significantly suppressing neuraminidase, which is an enzyme that plays an important role in the occurrence of pathogenic viral and bacterial infections and of the inflammation that accompanies such infection, and thus the Paulownia tomentosa extract or the geranylated flavonoid isolated therefrom can advantageously be used as an active ingredient in a composition for suppressing neuraminidase activity.La présente invention concerne une composition pour supprimer lactivité de neuraminidase comprenant un flavonoïde géranylé dérivé de Paulownia tomentosa comme ingrédient actif. Lextrait de Paulownia tomentosa et le flavonoïde géranylé qui en est isolé montrent un effet dans la suppression significative de la neuraminidase, qui est une enzyme qui joue un rôle important dans lapparition dinfections pathogènes virales et bactériennes et dans linflammation qui accompagne de telles infections et donc, lextrait de Paulownia tomentosa ou le flavonoïde géranylé qui en est isolé peuvent avantageusement être utilisés comme ingrédient actif dans une composition pour supprimer lactivité de neuraminidase.본 발명은 참오동나무유래 제라닐레이티드 플라보노이드를 유효성분으로 포함하는 뉴라미니데이즈 활성 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 상기 참오동나무 추출물 및 이로부터 분리한 제라닐레이티드 플라보노이드는 병원성 바이러스 및 박테리아 감염과 감염 후 수반되는 염증 생성에 중요한 역활을 담당하는 효소인 뉴라미니데이즈를 유의적으로 억제하는 효과를 나타내므로, 상기 참오동 나무 추출물 또는 이로부터 분리한 제라닐레이티드 플라보노이드는 뉴라미니데이즈 활성 억제용 조성물의 유효성분으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
