PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress freezing of water for use in air cleaning when an air cleaning device is used in a low temperature environment.SOLUTION: An air cleaning method comprises: cleaning air at a gas-liquid contact part by bringing air to be supplied to the gas-liquid contact part into contact with water which is stored in a water storage tank and sprayed to the gas-liquid contact part storing the water fallen from the gas-liquid contact part into the water storage tank driving a blower for discharging air which is cleaned by the gas-liquid contact part and heating water stored in the water storage tank while continuing spraying of water and driving of the blower, when water temperature is equal to or lower than first temperature T1 (S2, S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
