A viewing system is disclosed, comprising: a detector of electromagneticradiation (EMR)；and a control system connected to receive signals from the detector, andconfigured toidentify an image locator, disposed within a field of view of the detector inuse, and selectfor detection by the detector the image locator or an image located by theimage locator. Aviewing method is disclosed comprising: detecting electromagnetic radiationfrom an imagelocator disposed within a field of view of a detector； identifying the imagelocator with acontrol system； and displaying the image locator or an image located by theimage locator onone or more displays.
