The present invention provides a method for preparing mitiglinide calcium dehydrate. According to the preparation method of the present invention, the mitiglinide calcium dehydrate is prepared by comprising the steps of adding an (S)-benzyl succinyl chloride solution to an imidazole-containing solution in a dropwise manner and directly reacting the resultant solution with cis-octahydroisoindole hydrochloride.
