PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood attaching structure of the distal end part of an endoscope, which is capable of being used in high frequency treatment and improving attachment and detachment strength and durability.
SOLUTION: In the attaching structure of the hood of an endoscope, in which the hood in a hollow cylindrical shape is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the distal end part of the endoscope in a cylindrical shape in the state of being projecting from the distal end part, the distal end part of the endoscope is formed of a resin material, the hood is formed of a transparent resin material, a female thread part is provided on either one of the inner peripheral surface of the hood and the outer peripheral surface of the distal end part of the endoscope, a male thread part to be thread-engaged with the female thread part is provided on the other, and the female thread part and the male thread part are constituted of a round screw or a trapezoidal screw.
