The module (1) has an illumination source (51) shifted on a side of a reflector (52) with respect to an axis of the reflector in which a central axis is directed along a longitudinal direction such that an orthogonal projection of a connection unit (53) on a plane (55) of an illumination area (56) is eccentric with respect to the illumination area, or shifted on a side of the illumination area with respect to an axis of the illumination area in which the axis is directed along the longitudinal direction. An independent claim is also included for a decontaminating device.La présente invention concerne un module (1) pour la décontamination d'une zone de traitement par exposition à une lumière ultra-violette, comprenant : - au moins une source d'illumination (51) comprenant des moyens de connexion (53) à moins une extrémité selon sa direction longitudinale, - un réflecteur (52) agencé pour réfléchir la lumière issue de la source d'illumination (51) vers une zone d'illumination (56) plane. Le module (1) est formé pour que la projection orthogonale des moyens de connexion (53) sur le plan (55) de la zone d'illumination (56) soit décentrée par rapport à la zone d'illumination (56), c'est-à-dire décalée d'un côté de la zone d'illumination relativement à un axe de la zone d'illumination, lequel axe étant central et orienté selon la direction longitudinale. L'invention concerne aussi un dispositif comprenant plusieurs de ces modules (1) et une utilisation d'un tel dispositif.
