PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve product yield by reconsidering dimensional accuracy of each component of a photographing lens unit for an endoscope.SOLUTION: A first lens movement frame 26 and a second lens movement frame 27 are engaged with a camshaft 25, and first and second movable lenses 22, 23 are individually moved in an optical axis direction by the rotation of the camshaft 25. A movement hole 35 is formed with a first connection face 51, and a second connection face 52 on the inner side thereof. An inter-face distance of the second connection face 52 is made to be smaller than an inter-face distance of the first connection face, and two sides are formed in a step state. The movement hole 35 is cut off into the first connection face 51 and the second connection face 52, so that cutting the movement hole 35 all at once is done away with when cutting the minute and elongated movement hole 35. The wild movement of an end mill during the cutting is eliminated, and the connection faces 51, 52 can be machined with high accuracy to improve the product yield. Smooth lens movement can be performed even in low-torque rotation by wire drive.
