PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for distinguishing skin characteristics such as "softness", "resilience", or "smoothness", which is realized and easily recognized by a person.SOLUTION: The technique is the one for distinguishing the skin characteristics such as "softness", "resilience", or "smoothness" by photographing the change (displacement) of a spherical body on a skin surface by using a high-speed camera and performing image processing analysis concerning the photographed change of the spherical body.
