The litter box for a pet comprises: the main body in the shape of a box with an open upper portion； and a cover which is formed to be able to be joined to cover the open portion of the main body, has an entrance for a pet formed on a front side, has open windows formed on left and right sides, facing each other, to communicate with the outside, and has a ventilation window arranged on an upper portion forming a joining portion of the open windows. The door is joined, to be able to be opened and closed, to the entrance.
