PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy suppression of the occurrence of defective products without increasing the hardness of a tablet at a low cost even if stress is applied to the tablet during transportation, packaging by an automatic dispensing machine or when taking out from the PTP and an easy improvement of productivity.SOLUTION: A tablet comprises a body portion (2) with a prescribed thickness and cap portions (3) projected from the upper and lower surfaces (4) on the upper and lower sides thereof each in a convex shape. The cap portion (3) has a peripheral edge portion (7), the surface of which is provided with a rise angle (&alpha；) of 35-50 degrees with respect to the upper and lower surfaces (4) of the body portion (2) and is formed into a convex curved surface which becomes circular arc-shaped in cross section. The cap portion (3) has a surface provided with an angle (&bgr；) of at least 20 degrees with respect to the upper and lower surfaces (4) at a position (9) recessed by a 5% length (L) of the horizontal length (D) of the body portion (2) from the peripheral edge of the body portion (2). The peripheral edge portion (7) has a surface connected to the surface at the mid portion (6) smoothly.【課題】搬送時や自動分包機による包装時、或いはＰＴＰからの取出し時などに応力を受けても、錠剤の硬度を高めることなく欠損の発生を抑制できるうえ、簡単で安価に実施でき、生産性を容易に向上できるようにする。【解決手段】所定厚さの胴部(２)とその上下の上下面(４)から凸状に膨出形成したキャップ部(３)とからなる。キャップ部(３)の周縁部(７)の表面は、胴部(２)の上下面(４)に対し３５～５０度の立上り角度(α)を備え、縦断面が円弧状となる凸曲面に形成してある。胴部(２)の周縁から、胴部(２)の水平方向の長さ(Ｄ)の５％分の長さ(Ｌ)だけ入り込んだ位置(９)において、キャップ部(３)の表面は上記の上下面(４)に対して２０度以上の角度(β)を備える。周縁部(７)の表面は、中央部(６)の表面と滑らかに接続してある。【選択図】図１
