A method of manufacturing a composite body of a sheet-like member of an absorbent article, the method including: holding a first sheet-like member 10 on a holding surface 53 of a holding section 51 and delivering and attaching the first sheet-like member 10 from the holding surface 53 to a second sheet-like member 20a, 24a. The first sheet-like member 10 has a section that is to be delivered first and a section that is to be delivered subsequently during delivery to the second sheet-like member 20a, 24a, the first sheet-like member 10 being held on the holding surface 53 with suction air from a plurality of holes 54 that have been formed on the holding surface 53. The holding section 51 has at least two suction chambers 56 of a first suction chamber 56d that is in communication with holes 54 that suck the section that is to be delivered first and a second suction chamber 56u that is in communication with holes 54 that suck the section that is to be delivered subsequently. The first sheet-like member 10 is delivered to the second sheet-like member 20a, 24a in a state in which the first suction chamber 56d and the second suction chamber 56u have been partitioned so as not to allow air to pass through to each other.
