PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high functional granulated carbon exhibiting excellent function and a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The high functional granulated carbon is a granulated carbon formed by kneading powdery activated carbon, functional solid power and a binder, granulating and hardening, wherein the solid powder is water-insoluble solid powder and the binder is cured at 0-200°C and lower than the melting temperature of the functional solid powder.
