The present invention relates to a roaster comprising: a body having a motor installed therein； a roasting chamber including a top chamber and a bottom chamber which are installed in the body； a combustion pipe installed at the inner top of the top chamber, wherein the combustion pipe has a top surface having an air discharging pipe formed in the central part thereof to protrude to the outside, a bottom surface having a feeding hole formed in the central part thereof, a cylindrical side surface wrapping the edges of the top surface and the bottom surfaces, and an opening part produced by extending the side surface to a predetermined distance under the bottom surface； a heater disposed between the top surface and the bottom surface thereof； a combustion space formed between the heater and the combustion pipe to be able to flow air； and a shutter installed at the bottom of the bottom surface, and capable of closing or opening the opening part. When the shutter is opened, radiant heat of the heater is transferred to a bottom side, and coffee beans are heated. At the same time, organic materials are pyrolyzed in the combustion space. When the shutter is closed, radiant heat of the heater is blocked from being transferred to a bottom side.
