PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planter which is less likely to cause root rot without a pot bottom net and pot bottom stones, easily performs a planting operation so that a worker can take care of planted flowers without stooping down very much, and an elder person who sits on a wheelchair or a person having disability can easily take care of the flowers.SOLUTION: A planter A comprises: a planter body 1 including a container portion 11 which contains plant culture soil; and a support leg part 2 which supports the planter body 1 so as to form a ventilation space between the bottom of the container portion 11 and a planter installation surface. The planter body 1 is made of a collapsible sheet-like material. The entire container portion 11 has water permeability and air permeability, an outer layer 11a of the container portion 11 has water retentivity, and the container portion 11 is separable from the support leg part 2.
