PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Marchantia paleacea extract or essence containing a high concentration of perillaldehyde which can provide a perilla-like, green-like, and floral-like fragrance having higher palatability.SOLUTION: A Marchantia paleacea extract or essence containing a high concentration of perillaldehyde can be produced by extracting with an organic solvent or steam distilling a whole plant or a thallus of Marchantia paleacea grown by artificial cultivation. The extract or essence obtained has an excellent fragrance and can be used as a perfume composition. Further, by adding the extract, essence, or perfume composition, a product can be provided with good fragrance.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、より嗜好性の高いシソ様及び、グリーン様・フローラル様の香気を付与することのできる高濃度のペリラアルデヒドを含有するフタバネゼニゴケ抽出物又は精油を提供すること。【解決手段】人工的な栽培により生育させたフタバネゼニゴケの全草又は葉状体部を有機溶媒にて抽出又は水蒸気蒸留することにより高濃度のペリラアルデヒドを含有するフタバネゼニゴケ抽出物又は精油を製造することができる。得られた抽出物又は精油は、優れた香気を有しており、香料組成物として使用できる。また、この抽出物或いは精油又は香料組成物を添加することにより製品に良好な香気を賦与することができる。【選択図】なし
