To provide an apparatus for transporting grain culms in a combine harvester and which transports grain culms so as not to make grain culms have unreasonable positions and prevents transportation disturbance of grain culms and culm falling.
SOLUTION: The raking and transporting apparatus 30 of combine harvester 1 is constituted to transport reaped grain culms by a transportation path M made of a right-side ear tip transporting body 33 composed of a right-side lower ear tip transporting body 34 and a right-side upper ear tip transporting body 35 and a guide plate 50. The guide plate 50 is equipped with a recess 50A formed in a grooved shape along the passage locus of the tip portion 35c of a pawl 35of a the right-side upper ear tip transporting body 35. Consequently and grain culms are latched by the middle portion of the pawl 35a so as to pass the tip portion 35c of the pawl 35a through the recess 50A of the guide plate 50 and grain culms are transported while keeping in parallel with the guide plate 50.
