The yarns used for the fabrication of the fabric maybe extruded with antifouling and/or foul release additives. The fabric is used at aquaculture farms to reduce drag and biofouling growth, while blocking harmful pests, parasites, insects, organisms, and animals from entering into the cage/farm.
